Featured Participants:

Despite San Francisco’s unusually heavy rainfall this season, Green Zebra’s thinking solar! We can’t understand why more of you haven’t already taken the plunge as we did at Green Zebra’s “international corporate headquarters” (Co-founder Anne Vollen’s home in the Marina).

We’re so enthusiastic about solar that we’ve come up with a great reason for you to give it serious consideration. Sign up for a system from SolarCity by 2/28/2010, and we'll reward you with a $300 gift certificate from the Green Zebra participant of your choice, or $250 cash!

Did you know that installing a solar energy system can actually save you money while helping preserve the environment?

Some of SolarCity's attractive new options for going solar require $0 down and will reduce your monthly energy expense from day one.

Want to learn more? Come to the next event in the Green Zebra Brown Bag Series:

Date: Thursday, February 25, 2010 (Farmers’ Market Day)

Time: noon – 1 pm

Location: Green Zebra Environmental Action Center

Crocker Galleria

50 Post Street, Suite #9

Enter off Sutter Street between Montgomery and Kearny

We’re on the Ground Floor across from Tully’s Coffee

Learn how solar technology works, and why it may be a great choice for you. See how SolarGuard allows you to monitor your solar system’s output by the year, month, or even hour (we’ve shared Green Zebra’s ’09 results below). Bring a copy of your current energy bill, and go home with a feel for how much money you'll be able to save by going solar.

Preregister at events@thegreenzebra.org by 5 pm on 2/23, and we’ll provide you with a healthy complimentary lunch (or bring your own if you’d prefer).

Have other plans that day? Contact Green Zebra Co-founder Anne Vollen at 415.346.2361 x 2. She will be glad to speak with you about her experiences as a solar customer since 2008, and to help you figure out if your home or business is a good candidate for solar.
